Digilocker Services: Download your government documents on WhatsApp -

The Government under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is working for “Ease of Living” through Digital India. In this context, MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp is a big step to ensure governance. The Ministry of Electronics and IT (Meity) has announced that users can access their DigiLocker account through WhatsApp. Users will also get access to the MyGov Helpdesk while using the mobile application. With the help of Digilocker services, users will be able to download all important documents like – PAN card, driver’s license, class 10 mark sheet, class 12 mark sheet and vehicle RC via WhatsApp.

The Digilocker services are now available on WhatsApp through the MyGov Helpdesk chatbot. Through Digilocker, you can download your documents which are linked with Aadhar card. You can download your documents via WhatsApp and save your much time. Note that before accepting the Digilocker service you need to read carefully Digilocker privacy policy and accept them.

Below are the documents that can be downloaded through Digilocker service–

PAN card
Driving License (DL)
CBSE Class X Passing Certificate
Class X Marksheet
Class XII Marksheet
Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
Insurance Policy – Two-Wheeler,car,helth

There is a step-by-step process to use the Digilocker services on WhatsApp–

In the Post

Step 1. Save +91-9013151515 as MyGov Helpdesk in your phone contacts.

Save Helpdesk Number — Save MyGov Helpdesk Number

Step 2. Search MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp.

Step 3. Type Digilocker, Hi or Namaste to activate the chatbot in WhatsApp.

Step 4. Then chatbot will show the available options.

Step 5. Then click on Yes option and Select Digilocker services when asked about whether you have a Digilocker account.

Step 6. Enter 12-digit Aadhar number when chatbot asks.

Step 7. Now, Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

After entering the OTP, the chatbot will list the documents linked to your Aadhar number.

Step 8. If you want to download the other documents that are not listed then you need to issue them first. click on Issue option.

If desired document are not here then press issue option

Step 9. Then select the document option number you want to issue and fill the all details that ask to you.

Step 10. Then repeat steps 3 to 7 again and click on the document’s option number that you want to download.

Step 11. Then the document will be downloaded successfully via WhatsApp.
