AOL Mail is a free online email service provided by AOL. If you have an AOL email account, you are not restricted to the AOL website or app for accessing your emails. Syncing AOL mail with a third-party email program, such as Windows Mail, is easy, allowing you to read, download, send and reply to AOL messages from Windows Mail.

Mail is the default email program included in Windows 10 and Windows 8; It is called Windows Mail in Windows Vista. Mail allows you to access different email accounts, such as your AOL Mail account, in one central location.
Windows 10 Mail automatically supports any POP or IMAP compliant email account, making it easy to sync with AOL Mail.
You may need to know AOL IMAP server settings or POP server settings to download email to Windows Mail, as well as AOL SMTP server settings to send mail. These settings will be mentioned below when necessary, as newer Windows Mail programs already know this information.
Steps to Access an AOL Email Account With Windows 10 Mail :
- Open Mail and select Settings (gear icon) at the bottom left.
- Select Accounts> Add accounts. The Choose an account box appears.
- Select Other account from the list of options.
- Enter your AOL Mail email address in the first field, and then fill in the rest of the page with your account name and password.
- Select Login.
- Select Done.
- You can now use the menu button at the top left of Mail to switch between your email accounts and access AOL Mail through Windows 10 Mail.

- Open the Mail app and enter the WIN + C keyboard combination.
- Select Settings from the menu displayed on the right of the screen.
- Choose accounts.
- Select Add an account.
- Choose AOL from the list.

- Select the Connect button to add the AOL email account to the Mail app.
